A Happy Birthday to Our Former President

In cooperation with the Lions Club Leipzig Saxonia we organized the 1st International Piano Competition "The Young Musical Lions" in 2021. Now the jury has announced the winners.

On November 30, 2020, the founding president of our association, Prof. Hella Brock passed away at the age of 101. We bow our heads in silent gratitude!

As announced on 15 October 2020, pianist Christian Grøvlen will be the new director of the Grieg Museum Troldhaugen in Bergen with effect from 1 December 2020.

Since the summer of 2020, a new grand piano - a Steinway B-211 from 1901 - has been in the music salon of the meeting place.
