"My dear wolf - my dear distant girls".
The traces of the childhood history of actress Ellen Hellwig (born 1946, Schauspiel Leipzig) lead to Trondheim in Norway and Machern in Saxony. As the daughter of a German and a Norwegian, she experienced the post-war years with contacts in two countries.
The rediscovered correspondence of her parents illustrates the challenging times of a family separated by national borders.
In collaboration with the director and dramaturge Steffen Moratz (MDR) and the author Anne Osterloh, a radio play about the childhood days of the actress was created from this exciting and intimate material.
Experience with us the radio play about a very special German-Norwegian contact of the post-war years. Ellen Hellwig herself as well as Steffen Moratz and Anne Osterloh will give background information about the production in an artist talk. Board member Prof. Dietmar Nawroth will provide musical accompaniment to the program.
