Recital with the Grieg Prize winner
It is intended to be the start of a tradition that the winner of the Grieg Prize for the best interpretation of a complete work by Edvard Grieg at the International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition in Bergen, Norway will be a guest at Talstrasse 10 the year after his award.
Guillaume Sigier is the first pianist to follow this closed cooperation with the Grieg Competition. He received the coveted prize last year for his performance of Improvisata op. 29. The rarely heard improvisation work on two Norwegian folk tunes is the focus of his Leipzig program.
