Guided tours
There is a permanent exhibition on the life and work of the world-famous Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843 -1907), whose biography is closely linked to Leipzig.

Dear visitors, due to restoration work, the Grieg Meeting Center will be closed continuously from 08.03. to 25.03. The office will also be staffed only irregularly. However, the concert "Japanese Spring" on 26.03.2023 (14:00) will take place as announced. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Dear visitors, we are open for you again! However, our opening hours have changed. From now on we welcome you in the Grieg-Begegnungsstätte on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 - 18:00. We look forward to your visit!

Discussion Concert

Would you like to experience a concert during your visit where you can learn all about Grieg and Leipzig? Please get in touch with us. We will be happy to arrange an appointment with you.

For groups

For groups of up to 30 participants, we offer a 30-minute program with a lecture on the history of the house and a few musical contributions.

Since the foundation of our association, imparting knowledge to children and schoolchildren has been an integral part of our services. The project "Grieg at school" was one of the starting points for our exhibition.
