Founded in 1998, the association has since been committed to preserving the memory of the world-famous Norwegian composer.
German-Norwegian Friendship Society
With over 1000 members, DNF is the largest association in Germany that cultivates German-Norwegian relations. Annual meetings, lecture evenings, language courses and much more connects the comrades-in-arms spread all over Germany. Our rooms in Talstraße 10 have often been the venue for one or the other cooperation project.

German Edvard Grieg Society
In 1995 the German Edvard Grieg Society was founded at the University of Münster, initiated by Grieg researcher and organist Prof. Joachim Dorfmüller. The society continues to exist today under the leadership of its founding president. The DEGG's flagship event is the annual Grieg Festival in Münster.

International Edvard Grieg Society
The International Grieg Society is the umbrella organization of all Grieg societies worldwide. Every two years it invites to an international conference. Museum employee Christoph Siems has been a deputy member of the IGS board since 2019:

Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen (Norway)
The Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen is located in the former home of Edvard and Nina Grieg. In addition to the villa itself, the Troldsal chamber music hall is also one of the museum's attractions. Concerts with Grieg's works are held here regularly.
